Birrigai TOMORROW - Koalas & Possums

Hello Koalas & Possums class Families,
We are excited for the excursion tomorrow. Please note the excursion will go ahead if raining.  If the weather permits, the children will still go on a bush walk and rock scrambling, so it is important that they wear appropriate shoes to partake in this.  Sneakers will be fine, and they cannot wear gumboots.  It is likely it will be wet underfoot so a spare pair of shoes and socks can be sent into preschool if you would like - the children can change into these as soon as they return to the classroom.  Raincoats can be provided by Birrigai for children if needed.  However if your child has one, it would be great it they can bring it along.  If it is too wet for the planned outdoor activities, an alternative program will be provided indoors and undercover.
In order for the morning to run smoothly and the children to settle into the excursion day, we ask if you can please arrive at 9am at the latest.
Please take the time to check the below to make sure you have everything ready:
• Morning Tea and Lunch in 2 separate clearly labelled paper bags. These will come home in your child's bag this afternoon.
• Their labelled water bottle
• Wear school uniform with long pants and enclosed shoes.
• Sunscreen applied
We are really looking forward to tomorrow and a big thank you to the parents who have volunteered to join us.
Warm regards, The preschool team.

Please use the labelled brown paper bags students brought home to seperate their morning tea and lunch, which they will take with them on the excursion. There are more bags available at the ELC if needed.
