Preschool News

Welcome back to Term 2.  The students have settled back into their routines and are enjoying time spent in nature with the glorious Canberra weather still providing us with warm days.  Some classes have ventured to our local pine forest and enjoyed climbing to the top of trees, picking flowers and sitting in a quiet spot to take in the views. 

This term Nyssa Sparkle is joining us each week for a dance and music lesson.  The students are enjoying her interactive lessons and abundant energy.  The cost of this incursion will be charged to your account and will cover the cost for the whole term.

To enrol your child for 2022 please complete the online form before the 28^th of May.  The form can be found here on our website.

OPEN DAYS  

We are thrilled to offer 2 Open Days for perspective 2022 families to tour our Preschool and hear about all the wonderful things we have on offer. 

Saturday the 15^th of May from 9:00am – 11:00am

Friday the 21^st of May from 3:30pm – 5:30pm

Next week, there will be a link on our website for families to book into a tour. 

This opportunity will be advertised on our website and Facebook page.  If you know of any families who would like to tour the ELC, please let them know the dates.  They are welcome to contact us for any further information.

New Service Model for 2022

Catholic Education, Early Learning Centre Offering In 2022 Catholic Education, Archdiocese of Canberra Goulburn (CECG) has been reviewing potential operation models to support sustainability of our eight ACT Early Learning Centres and allow for future growth. Information regarding our service offering for 2022 will be provided to families as soon as possible to support enrolment activities. In the interim, we would like to ensure families, that we will continue to operate as normal, offering a curriculum based on Australian National Early Years Learning Framework led by Early Childhood trained teachers and educators.  We know how valued our ELCs are, and we will continue to focus on supporting families in the transition of their children into our Kindergarten.

The Possums class have enjoyed many wonderful and exciting experiences for the beginning of Term 2.  Welcome back for another fabulous term of Preschool!  

Welcome to Term 2 in the Bilbies class.  We hope you all had a wonderful break and we look forward to another lovely term together.
