Our term got off to a flying start with each of the classes visiting the zoo. A big thank you to all the parents who came along to help with this! The kids had a great day and really enjoyed feeding some of the animals at the zoo – the emu, some deer and llamas. The Possums enjoyed gorgeous sunny weather and managed a play at the adventure playground on their visit. The Koalas and Bilbies were troopers on their zoo adventure, braving the rain and cold weather in their explorations of the zoo!

Prac Students at the ELC
We have two prac students joining our team in Term 4.
Chelsea Edmonds who is studying Early Childhood Teaching at ACU has been completing some observation days at the ELC. Chelsea is working in the Bilbies and Possums class. She will commence her full time prac placement in these classes next week (Week 4).
In week 7 of the term we will be joined Vanessa Dries who is studying Early Childhood teaching at Swinburne University. Vanessa will be completing her placement in the Koala class.
We look forward to both these students working with the students throughout the coming term.
Hats and Sunscreen
Now that we are in the warmer months of the year please ensure children come to school each day with their school hat and a drink bottle.
Children should also have sunscreen applied when they arrive at preschool in the morning. We do ask students to reapply sunscreen during the day, particularly before heading outside. We do have sunscreen available in the foyer of the ELC if you need to help your child apply their sunscreen when they arrive at the ELC.
We are really short of spare hats at the moment so if you come across any ELC hats at home please send them in! We often need spares to ensure all students have a hat to wear during their day at preschool. Thank you!
