Well Done ELC Super-stars!
Well done to all our gorgeous ELC student’s for their fabulous ELC assembly on the last day of term! What a performance! We were so impressed with how beautifully they participated and joined in with all the songs and actions. There were so many children keen to have a go speaking into the microphone and they spoke so confidently. And what an amazing job each of them did sitting and listening and being so grown up the whole time they were on the stage! Even though the Bilbies weren’t there on the day it was lovely to see what they have been learning about Gratitude in their ‘Dis’ video. Well done everyone – we are super proud of you!
Last Monday was such a lovely day at St Anthony’s with the whole school joining the Festa D’Italia -an opportunity for the students to be immersed in some Italian culture. The students at the ELC loved singing the alphabet in Italian for the morning assembly (hopefully you might be occasionally enjoying renditions of this at home!). We all loved eating some delicious pizza made by a visiting Pizza chef and his crew of Year 6 helpers. In the afternoon we also enjoyed some yummy mango or vanilla gelato! Delicious! We are so lucky to have the fabulous Mr Mockler teaching us Italian this year. We had such a fun day celebrating all things Italian!
