To all our ELC families, we wish you a happy and blessed Easter holidays. We have so enjoyed getting to know you and your children over the last term, and hope that you all enjoy some family time and hopefully a chance to relax over the Easter weekend.

We have enjoyed celebrating Easter with the students over the last few weeks. Each of the classes have enjoyed making hats for our Easter Parade, decorating egg cups and making some coloured eggs.  It has also been a lovely experience to have the hatching chicks at preschool, and a reminder to us of the Easter message of new life and renewal.

As we journeyed through Holy Week, the children joined in with students at the school in a Palm Sunday Liturgy, the Stations of the Cross and an Easter Liturgy. On all of these occasions we have been so impressed by the beautiful, respectful way they have listened and joined in. As we shared the story of Easter, the children were told of the sadness of Jesus’ death but we have also emphasised to them that the Easter story has a happy ending. The story of Easter is a story of hope – hope of new life, hope of restored relationships, hope of light overcoming darkness. Have blessed and hope filled Easter, spent with those you love.

Do you know someone who is looking for Preschool for 2024?  Please invite them to join us at our open days, or pass on our details so they can contact us. 

We will be looking for current parent volunters to attend the open days and answer any possible questions from a parent perspective.  If you have a free half an hour or so at the planned times, please let us know.  Thank you.

Bookings for casual days in our upcoming school holiday program are now closed.  However, if you require a last minute or emergency booking, please contact us on bec.mackay@cg.catholic.edu.au and Bec will discuss it further with you.

If your child is enrolled for 48 weeks per year, then they are automatically booked in and they will be able to attend for their usual enrolled days and hours.  This includes the pupil free day.

If you have any questions regarding the program and bookings, please contact the office.

We ask all families to please take the time to check over the Preschool uniforms you have at home.  We have had many jumpers and hats go missing this term and they may have ended up in your child's bag by accident! Thank you.
