Settling into Preschool
All children have their own journey when it comes to settling into preschool.  Some children come skipping in daily and others take a little while to feel confident in their new environment.  Sometimes saying good bye in the morning can be a stressful and emotional time.  We want to support all our students in developiong relationships with their educators and teachers, that will assist morning transitions and a happy day at preschool. Relationships take time to develop and during the first few weeks there can be some tears at morning drop offs, and goodbyes can be difficult - for both the child and parent.
We encourgae you to talk to your child about morning drop off routines and how you will be back to pick them up after their preschoool day.  We find Maggie Dent & the Raising Children Network have great strategies and resources that will support you and your child in creating a calm and smooth morning drop off.  Please talk with our staff if you would like further support with this.

Information Session

Thank you to those families who were able to attend our information session.  It was great to see you all.  We have attached the powerpoint presentation for those who were unable to make it.  Please note that this is the onscreen powerpoint that the staff spoke to, so it may not provide all the information we shared.
