We're going to the zoo, zoo, zoo! How about you, you, you?

The students and staff enjoyed their visits to the zoo where they experienced the animals up close during guided tours. A huge thanks to our parent helpers who joined the excursion. Luckily the rain stayed away, and the students could enjoy a day filled with fun and friendship.

ART SHOW

This term we are holding a preschool art show in our playground. The children have been studying famous artists including Matisse, Kandinsky and many more. The show is a culmination of their great work. It will be held across 2 afternoons giving all families including any grandparents and other family members the opportunity to pop in. For a small donation you can purchase your child’s artwork. Any purchased pieces will be sent home the following week. The money raised will be donated to St Vincent de Paul for their Christmas Appeal.

SPARE CLOTHES

Do you have any spare preschool clothes that you would like to donate now or towards the end of the year? Next year our second-hand clothes can be purchased through the clothing pool at the Primary School.

MINI COLOUR RUN

On Friday the 25th of November our Koala and Possum students will be invited to run the last leg of the colour run. Please dress your child in a white t-shirt on this day so they can be sprayed with colour. The students will wear sunglasses to protect their eyes and we will talk to the children about the event. Reminders will be sent home via Seesaw.

SAVE THE DATE - CHRISTMAS PICNIC

Every year we hold our end of year Christmas picnic on the St Anthony’s Oval. This is a chance for our families and staff to come together to celebrate a great year. You are welcome to bring extended family members including aunts, uncles, grandparents etc.

During the evening the students will sing a few songs, receive their portfolios, and enjoy a visit from Santa. Included in their portfolio will be their Semester 2 report. If you cannot attend this event, we will keep your child’s portfolio at the office and it can be collected before the last day of preschool, Thursday the 15th of December.
