From our principal:
Happy Father’s Day, On Sunday we celebrated you.
To all of our wonderful dads, our father figures and those in our community who step into the role of dad to care and support our beautiful children. May they reflect God’s grace and guidance in their journey of raising and nurturing their children. We pray for those who mourn the loss of their dad, particularly at this time. Surround them with God’s peace as we continue to comfort them with our love and strength.
Amen.
An enormous thanks to our wonderful Fathers and father figures that joined us for Dad’s and Donuts last Friday. How wonderful it was to have so many join us for this special event.
This weekend some of our students will be making their First Eucharist. Your support is very valued and welcomed if you would like to join us for Mass on Saturday at 5pm or Sunday at 9am. We continue to keep all those who are making their First Eucharist in our prayers.
Year 5 camp
We wish our Year 5 students all the very best as they attend their Year 5 camp at Warrambui next Wednesday. My sincere thanks to our Year 5 teachers for their additional time away from their own families and for their care and support of our students. Camp is such a wonderful opportunity for our students to grow and learn with each other. I look forward to hearing all about the adventures when the students return next Friday.
ICAS tests
Well done to all the students who participated in the ICAS tests. The students all gave it their best and seemed to enjoy the experience. Once the tests have been finalised and the certificates received, we will celebrate participants at a Monday morning assembly.
Dear Parents & Carers of Year 5 & 6 students,
This term our students have been fortunate enough to be involved in a Dance Program organised through Dance 4 Fitness. We have been contacted by our instructor, Susan, to offer Year 5 & 6 students an opportunity to be involved in joining her on Stage 88 as part of Floriade. They are performing two songs which the students have been learning.
Below are further details if the students wish to be involved, noting that the performance will be held on Saturday 4th October (which is the Long Weekend and during School Holidays). Given that time, students will need to be supervised by their own parents/guardians as this is not a scheduled school event.
If you have any further queries, then please do not hesitate to contact Susan directly on her details below.
Join Susan on STAGE 88!
I'm excited to invite you to be part of a special performance at Floriade on Saturday, 4th October at 9:30 AM on STAGE 88! This opportunity is open to: my regular students of all ages and I am extending it to St Anthony's year 6 & 5 students.
In previous years, I have had over 50 participants aged 4 to 70+, and I’d love to have even more this year!
Our intergenerational ensemble will perform to It's Party Time (from "Hotel Transylvania 3") - Joe Jonas, followed by Beautiful People - David Guetta & Sia. Staging details will be emailed out.
Please book your child's spot so I know who to expect on the day and can make sure I have enough HATS!!! Once you have signed up a You Tube link will be sent with the choreography for home practices and staging details.
I can’t wait to share the stage with you!

Hall Renovation update
The inside of the hall is almost complete with flooring being laid this week.

Working Bee is this Friday afternoon.
This Friday we have a super quick tidy up of our community garden scheduled from 3.30-5.30pm. It will involve moving a bit of mulch, weeding, oiling our seats and planting a few plants.
If you have 10 minutes or even 20 minutes, pop over to the community garden and lend a hand. The garden is located next to the front office out the front of school with the circular concrete path. BYO gloves, shovels and buckets.
Lost Property
Is your child missing a hat, jumper or lunch box?
Please come past the library and visit the lost property baskets, there are a lot of clothes and items ready to be claimed.
A reminder to please label all items. Many items have no names and cannot be returned.
