Preschool Holiday Program - September & October 2022

Dear Families, 

Welcome to our Term 3 Holiday Program. The Program operates from the 26th September to the 7th October and we are open between 8:00am and 5:30pm.  The program has been created to provide high quality care that is also fun and engaging for your child. Please see the outline below for the specific activites or themes each day.

If your child is enrolled for 48 weeks per year, then they are automatically booked in and you do not need to complete a form.  They will be able to attend for their usual booked hours = Preschool (9am-3pm) or Preschool Plus (8am-5:30pm).  

If your child is enrolled for 40 weeks per year, you are now able to make a casual booking for the cost of $150.00 per day, 8am-5:30pm.  Casual places are limited and bookings will be accepted on a 'first in' basis.

If you are eligible, CCS will be applied to your fees.

Each day students will be expected to bring their own fruit break, morning tea and lunch. For those children here after 3pm we will supply afternoon tea.  Children can wear casual clothes however must have closed in shoes appropriate for outdooor play.

Casual bookings closed on Thursday 22nd September. If you require a last minute booking, please contact Michelle on michelle.woodward@cg.catholic.edu.au and she will discuss this with you.  

Notice of one week is required to cancel a casual booking otherwise full charges will apply.

Week 1
Monday 26th September	GECKO GANG Face painting and fun.
Tuesday 27th September	RAINBOW DAY A day full of rainbow craft and experiments.  Children dress up in rainbow clothes and make tie dye socks (children can bring in their own white tshirt if they want to tie dye that as well).
Wednesday 28th September	MOVIE DAY Time to relax and enjoy a G movie with popcorn and mini muffin pizza.
Thursday 29th September	Local Shops Visit Walk to Wanniassa shops, enjoy some hot chips from the take-away and a play at the park.
Friday 30th September	BAKERY DAY Children help make baked goods to enjoy for a high tea afternoon.
Week 2
Monday 3rd October	PUBLIC HOLIDAY
Tuesday 4th October	MEXICAN  Make Tacos and enjoy a mexican restaurant.
Wednesday 5th October	PIRATE DAY  Children come dressed up as pirates and enjoy a day of treasure hunting and building a ship.
Thursday 6th October	WALK TO PLAYGROUND Walk to the playground and have a picnic, play and some fun games.
Friday 7th October	MOVIE DAY Time to relax and enjoy a G movie with popcorn and mini muffin pizza.
